{"id":1524,"date":"2017-08-24T12:08:37","date_gmt":"2017-08-24T11:08:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=1524"},"modified":"2017-08-24T12:08:37","modified_gmt":"2017-08-24T11:08:37","slug":"how-to-create-a-new-nominal-and-analysis-code","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/Clientknowledgebase\/?p=1524","title":{"rendered":"How to create a new Nominal and Analysis code"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Creating a new Nominal Code<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>On the Operations menu, go to Nominal Ledger &gt; Select Nominal Ledger.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1528 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/nom1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"159\" height=\"249\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Within the &#8216;Ledger Code Entry&#8217; form <strong>press F5<\/strong> to clear the screen and ensure that it is now a blank form.<\/li>\n<li>To create a new code, go to the Code field and enter the new code <strong>(Ensure that there is no spaces in the code)<\/strong>, then the description and select the type of code from drop down list.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8230; icon underneath &#8216;Currency:&#8217; to select the currency for the new code.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to have multiple analysis codes for the account, then under &#8216;Analyse account&#8217; Select &#8216;Yes&#8217;, otherwise select &#8216;No&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1531 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/nom2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"519\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>To save, select the save icon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1533 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/nomsave.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"120\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>To confirm save select &#8216;YES&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1532 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/nomsave2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"266\" height=\"164\" \/><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Your new nominal code will now be successfully created.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Creating a new Analysis Code<\/h2>\n<p>If you have chosen to analyse a nominal code you will be able to setup new analysis codes for this account.
