{"id":2262,"date":"2022-08-01T11:18:23","date_gmt":"2022-08-01T10:18:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=2262"},"modified":"2022-08-01T11:18:23","modified_gmt":"2022-08-01T10:18:23","slug":"nominal-payment-entry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/Clientknowledgebase\/?p=2262","title":{"rendered":"Nominal Payment Entry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Create a Payment:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To make a payment that is not to a supplier you need you use the payment other option.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Purchase Ledger &gt;\u00a0 Payments Other.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2299 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/3-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"156\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Select the bank you want to make the payment from.<\/li>\n<li>Add in the cheque\/reference number, the payment date and the payee.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the details of the payment, the nominal code, analysis and payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Non_Supplier_Payment.bmp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-48728 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Non_Supplier_Payment.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"917\" height=\"567\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>The totals need to be equal to the payment amount entered.<\/li>\n<li>Select the &#8216;Save&#8217; icon. It will ask you if you want to save the payment, select &#8216;Yes&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancelling a Payment:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you have for some reason entered a incorrect value or need to change an amount the only way is to delete the payment.
