This allows you to filter the results you want shown in the report. For example if you wanted the report to only include all Bacon products you could create a query to show all Bacon products.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2665 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"451\" height=\"75\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0You can create a query in customer, product or supplier setup. For this example we will create the query in Product Setup, so go to Product Management on the Operations Menu and select &#8216;Product Setup&#8217;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1319 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/product-setup-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"242\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>When you open product setup select the &#8216;F4&#8217; button twice. You will see the following window, which shows the advanced search. you can use the different filter options to choose how you want to filter the search<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2663 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"803\" height=\"494\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Enter the keyword that you want to filter by and select your filter. Select the &#8216;Save Query&#8217; Option and this will save all products with the word key word you have selected<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2664 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"107\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Give the Query a code and description and select the Save Icon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2666 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"673\" height=\"283\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Once you have created the query you can now use this in the reports. For example we will use the Gross Margin Report.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the reports option on the left hand side &gt; go to Sales Analysis &gt; Gross Margin Report.<\/li>\n<li>Select the &#8216;Use Query&#8217; option, use &#8216;F4&#8217; to select a query from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2668 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"731\" height=\"595\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Select the date range and the select the print icon.
