{"id":4405,"date":"2019-09-03T13:51:18","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T12:51:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=4405"},"modified":"2019-09-03T13:51:18","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T12:51:18","slug":"how-to-add-delivery-costs-to-a-purchase-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/Clientknowledgebase\/?p=4405","title":{"rendered":"How to add delivery costs to a purchase order."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When adding a delivery charge to a purchase order you will need to have a product code set up for the delivery charge. <a href=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=1722&amp;highlight=set+up+product+code&amp;highlight=set%20up%20product%20code\">Click here for more information on how to set up a new product.<\/a> If the supplier your are buying from is not the provider of the delivery service, you will want to set up a new supplier code for whoever will be. <a href=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=1718&amp;highlight=set+up+supplier+code&amp;highlight=set%20up%20supplier%20code\">Click here for more information on how to set up a new supplier.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-23.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4412\"\/><figcaption>&#8220;Purchase order Delivery Costs Tab&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once you have your product and supplier codes in order, <strong>open your purchase order entry window<\/strong> and complete as you would any normal purchase order.<\/li><li>Next navigate to the <strong>Delivery Costs tab<\/strong>. <strong>Select the Service code field<\/strong> on your first line and<strong> press F4 to select your delivery charge product<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Now tab across the line until you get to <strong>the Supplier field<\/strong>, <strong>press F4 again and select the delivery service provider.<\/strong><\/li><li>After you have selected your supplier tab across to <strong>the Price field<\/strong>, <strong>enter the delivery charge<\/strong> and tab down onto the next line.<\/li><li>To complete the purchase order<strong> press F2 or click the Submit button<\/strong> in the bottom right hand corner of the window.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When adding a delivery charge to a purchase order you will need to have a product code set up for the delivery charge.
