To do this you will need product codes set up for your packaging materials.<a href=\"vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=1722&amp;highlight=new+product&amp;highlight=new%20product&#10;\">Click here for more information on setting up new products<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Product setup packaging tab\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/packaging.png\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Operations Menu &gt; Product Management &gt; Product Setup<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Packaging tab<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Click on the first line<\/b> and <b>press F4 to open your product menu<\/b> and <b>select the packaging product<\/b> you want to cost into the job. Tab across and <b>add in the quantity required<\/b> when <b>producing 1 unit<\/b> of the product. <strong>Tab across<\/strong> onto a new line and it will <strong>save<\/strong> for you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Reviewing Packaging Costs<\/h3>\n<p>After you have packaging costs set up and have been costing it into job you may want to review the costs for each job. To view the packaging costs per job you will need to run a <b>Job trace report<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>1. To do this, navigate to the <b>Products<\/b> tab within your <b>Reports<\/b> menu. From here click <b>Traceability Reports<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Product setup packaging tab\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/traceability.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>2. Within your report window you have a few check boxes and look up menus to work with. You will need to select the <b>Job Trace&nbsp;<\/b>option and ensure <strong>Exclude Packaging Details&nbsp;<\/strong>is&nbsp;<strong>NOT&nbsp;<\/strong>checked.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3.
