The Comms Manager can be integrated into your existing VOIP phone system and allows the calling of contacts directly through Season.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5117 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Capture-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"69\" height=\"75\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To access the Comms Manager, Click the<strong> Comms Manager Icon<\/strong> found on the menu bar along the top of your screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5132 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"474\" height=\"429\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Linking your Headset into Season<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure your headset is connected to your computer via bluetooth.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Keys\/Sound<\/strong> tab found on the main Comms Manager window.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Select your headset<\/strong> from the drop down menu<strong> for the Mic and Speaker<\/strong>. You may want to keep your ringer set to your PC speakers. <strong>*<\/strong> If your <strong>headset does not appear<\/strong>, click the <strong>refresh audio devices<\/strong> button, if it still does not appear, recheck headsets connection to PC*<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adjust volumes<\/strong> by moving the <strong>sliders up and down<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5120 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"565\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Making a Call<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click into the <strong>contact number <\/strong>box and <strong>press F4 <\/strong>to load your contact list.<\/li>\n<li>Select the contact you wish to call (you can press F4 again here to use the advanced search)<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Start Call <\/strong>button to make your call.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Receiving a Call<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Your Comms Manger will start to ring when you have an incoming call, displaying the caller ID in the grid for you.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Answer<\/strong> button to accept the call or the <strong>Reject<\/strong> button to reject it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5121 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled2-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"486\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Setting up Extensions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>From the <strong>Setup drop down menu<\/strong>, found in the top left corner of your Comms Manager window, <strong>select setup extension<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Move to step 3 if you are setting up a new extension. If you want to load an existing extension you can click into the <strong>extension number field<\/strong> and <strong>press F4<\/strong> to open the search.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enter an extension number<\/strong> into the <strong>Extension Number<\/strong> field. This <strong>must be unique<\/strong> and not already be in use for another extension.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the remainder of the form, your own VOIP company (or the contact you are setting up, if it is external) should be able to help you with these details if you are unsure.<\/li>\n<li>When everything required is filled in,<strong> click the save icon<\/strong> to complete the set up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5122 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled6-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"651\" height=\"637\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Setting up your shortcuts<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>From the <strong>Setup drop down menu<\/strong>, found in the top left corner of your Comms Manager window, <strong>select setup shortcuts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You will now see a grid, showing all currently set up shortcuts. Scroll to the bottom of your list and <strong>add a unique ID number<\/strong> into the<strong> first available blank line. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Next chose your <strong>shortcut Type<\/strong> (BLF will generally be used for internal numbers and speed dial for external)<\/li>\n<li>In the Number column, <strong>enter the phone number for external contacts<\/strong> or<strong> the extension number for internal contacts.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Add an <strong>On Call Label<\/strong>, this is what will display on your shortcut button if this contact is on call. (If left blank, &#8220;On Call&#8221; will be displayed by default)<\/li>\n<li>If you want the shortcut to <strong>only be displayed for your username<\/strong>, check the<strong> Private<\/strong> box. No other Season users will be able to see this contact.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tab onto a new line to save your changes<\/strong> and <strong>click the red X<\/strong> to return to your Comms Manger window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5123 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled3-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"605\" height=\"537\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Adding and Removing shortcut buttons<\/h2>\n<p>On the main Comms Manager window you have 2 tabs, <strong>Buttons 1-30 <\/strong>and <strong>Buttons 31-60. <\/strong>When you click either of these tabs you will see a grid of buttons. To add a shortcut to a button..<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5128 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Untitled1-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"529\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right click a blank button and click Edit.<\/li>\n<li>A list of shortcuts will open, <strong>select the contact<\/strong> you want to add the shortcut for and <strong>click the green tick<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Your blank button will now be replaced with the contacts name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*To remove shortcuts, follow step 1 above but click clear instead of edit. This will clear your button, freeing it for a new shortcut to be added.<\/p>\n<h2>Call Log<\/h2>\n<p>On the main Comms Manager window you have a <strong>Call Log<\/strong> tab. Here you can view your call history.
