To do this..<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3228 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/2-40.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"165\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Setting up\/Editing The Default E-mail Text.<\/h2>\n<p>Before e-mailing any pricebooks you will need to set up your default email text.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the <strong>Document communication Centre<\/strong>, found under the <strong>Sales Ledger<\/strong> tab on your right hand <strong>Operations Menu.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the<strong> Utilities<\/strong> drop down menu and select the <strong>Edit Default Pricenook Text.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24329 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Untitled-10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"899\" height=\"529\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your system admin password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24330 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Capture.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"343\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter a <strong>subject<\/strong> and enter your default text in the <strong>Body<\/strong> section. You can use the<strong> Tokens<\/strong> to make the email less generic, the tokens will take the corresponding data from your system database and add it to each email sent out. In the example below &lt;CONTACT_FIRST_NAME&gt; will fill in the first name of the contact you have set up against each customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24331 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Untitled-11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"596\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Setting Up Contacts To Receive Pricebook E-Mails<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Open <strong>Customer set up<\/strong>, found under the <strong>Sales Ledger<\/strong> tab on your right hand <strong>operations menu.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24351\" src=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Untitled-12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"949\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will need to set up a contact if you don&#8217;t currently have any set up (for more information on how this is done,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/?p=3021&amp;highlight=contact&amp;highlight=contact\">Click Here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Enter a valid e-mail address<\/strong> in the E-Mail Address field and<strong> check the box under the Prices<\/strong> column for your contact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sending Pricebook E-Mails<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the <strong>Document communication Centre<\/strong>, found under the <strong>Sales Ledger<\/strong> tab on your right hand <strong>Operations Menu.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5303 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vger.datos.co.uk\/ClientKnowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Untitled1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the <strong>Marketing\/Pricebooks<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>E-mail Options <\/strong>check the <strong>Pricebook<\/strong> option and then click the refresh button to load data into the grid. You also have the option to <strong>Load Branch Accounts, <\/strong>if needed, check the box prior to refreshing your data.<\/li>\n<li>When your customer list has loaded into the grid, you have the option to select individual customers or you can use the <strong>Select All\/Select None <\/strong>buttons in the bottom right.<\/li>\n<li>When you have selected all the customers you wish to e-mail price books to, click the <strong>Green Tick.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Season 20 the document communication centre has been updated to allow the e-mailing of customer price books.
