Error 500 when uploading/ Syncing data from the tablet to the Main PC/Server

When you are syncing/uploading data you may get an error saying “Server returned HTTP error 500”. This error generally means that the connection to the main server has timed out due to a poor connection.

How to fix the issue

Follow the below steps to troubleshoot this problem to try to fix the connection.

  1. Ensure that your tablet is connected to the WiFi.
  2. If your WiFi connection is weak try moving the tablet closer to the router/access point to enable a stronger connection.
  3. Try restarting the Web app on the tablet and main PC, Click Here to see how to do this.
  4. If you are still having issues you will need to contact Datos, as a reindex of the database on the tablet may be required to ensure there are no index issues and no bad data.
