How to Check/Reage Customer balances
If you find that the ageing is appearing incorrectly/not as expected on a customers account, the first step would be to try reageing the accounts, by following the steps below.
- Go to Customer Setup.
- Click on Utilities->Check/Reage Customer Accounts
- This will bring up the “Check/Reage Customer Accounts” window.
- Tick both check boxes to ‘reage balances’ and ‘list errors only’
- Click on the green tick to run the process.
Once completed, check the ageing on the accounts to ensure that it is now correct.
