How to setup a new department

Setting up a new department code

1. To setup a new department, go to the Operations Menu > Product Management > Product Setup.

2. Click on General Setups tab > Utilities > Setup Departments

3. To create a new department tab to a new line and enter a Sequence number (these need to go up in tens).

4. Enter in the system code in the same format as shown above.

5. Enter in a new code.

6. Once you have this completed tab across until the next line to save your changes.
